Maharana Pratap Convent School in Lucknow is seeking a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join its academic team. This is a School TGT Sanskrit Opening for a dynamic educator passionate about preserving and teaching classical Sanskrit language and literature to students. Role Responsibilities
Teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level, covering grammar, poetry, and key texts like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, ensuring alignment with CBSE curriculum standards. Designing engaging lesson plans that blend traditional pedagogy with modern teaching methods, tailored to students’ varying learning levels. Conducting regular class assessments and providing constructive feedback to help students improve their fluency and comprehension of Sanskrit.
Facilitating extracurricular activities such as Sanskrit recitation competitions, cultural fests, and workshops to foster a deeper appreciation for the language. Collaborating with other teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that connect Sanskrit with history, philosophy, and literature. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and ensuring compliance with school policies regarding academic standards and extracurricular participation.
Engaging with parents through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Preparing and updating lesson materials, including worksheets, audio-visual aids, and digital resources to support classroom learning. Representing the school at regional Sanskrit teaching workshops or cultural events when required, helping to strengthen the institution’s reputation in the community.
Eligibility
A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this TGT Sanskrit Teacher position. Candidates with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or related subjects are preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial for this School TGT Sanskrit Opening.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, along with full-time employment at Maharana Pratap Convent School.
