St Christ Public Inter College in Lucknow seeks a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to inspire students with the rich traditions of the ancient language and culture. This role involves shaping young minds through undergraduate and postgraduate teaching while fostering a deep appreciation for Sanskrit’s linguistic and philosophical depth.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging classroom instruction, covering grammar, literature, and Vedic studies, tailored to diverse learning levels. Your expertise will guide students through texts like the Rigveda, Mahabharata, and classical poetry, ensuring a balanced blend of theory and practical application.
Mentoring is a core responsibility, helping students refine their Sanskrit skills, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. You will assess student progress through quizzes, projects, and oral presentations, adapting your methods to meet individual needs.
For this full-time position, a Master’s degree in Sanskrit with at least 55% marks is mandatory. A TET/CTET qualification will be an asset. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in Sanskrit or related humanities, will be highly valued. A PhD in Sanskrit or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
