Plan and deliver engaging social science lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring students grasp key concepts through interactive methods. Develop and use age-appropriate teaching aids like maps, timelines, and case studies to enhance learning. Foster critical thinking by encouraging group discussions and projects on current events and historical events. Maintain a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and active participation. Collaborate with the school’s resource teachers to integrate social science with other subjects where possible. Assess student progress regularly using both formative and summative evaluations, ensuring fair and constructive feedback.
A graduate with a postgraduate degree in Social Science and at least four years of teaching experience is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, along with a valid TET or CTET certificate preferred. The TGT Social Science Teacher in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month.
