Role Summary
Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School in Nichlaul, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh is seeking a full-time PGT Accountancy Teacher for its esteemed faculty. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a well-equipped Accountancy lab, where students can practice and apply their knowledge.
Day-to-Day Duties
The PGT Accountancy Teacher will perform the following duties on a daily basis:
1. Prepare and deliver lessons on Accountancy to students at the Senior Secondary level.
2. Develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching methods to promote student learning.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
4. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum development.
6. Supervise and mentor students during Accountancy lab sessions.
7. Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
8. Participate in school events and activities to promote student engagement and well-being.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, the candidate must possess a postgraduate degree in Accountancy, with a specialization in Financial Accounting or Cost Accounting. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate is also required for teaching positions.
Preferred Skills
We prefer candidates with the following Accountancy-specific competencies:
* Excellent knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS)
* Strong understanding of financial analysis and modeling
* Proficiency in computer-aided accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks)
What You Get
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.22,000 - Rs.27,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
