Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School in Nichlaul, Maharajganj, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified PRT Social Science Teacher to join our team. As a Social Science teacher at our school, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Class VI to Class X.
Pedagogy and Tools
We follow a student-centered approach to teaching Social Science, focusing on practical methods and tools to make learning engaging and interactive. Our Social Science lab is equipped with maps, charts, and other resources to facilitate activity-based learning. You will be expected to design and deliver lesson plans that incorporate these tools and methods to promote student understanding and critical thinking.
What You Will Do
* Teach Social Science to students from Class VI to Class X
* Design and deliver lesson plans that incorporate practical methods and tools
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
* Develop and implement projects to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and performance
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
* Supervise students during Social Science activities and projects
* Provide guidance and support to students who need extra help
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Social Science or a related field
* TET or CTET certification (not required but preferred)
