4. Organize classroom activities such as debates, quiz competitions, and model-making on historical themes.
5. Maintain accurate attendance records and submit weekly progress reports to the academic coordinator.
6. Prepare students for CBSE board examinations with focused revision sessions and sample papers.
7. Use audio-visual aids, maps, timelines, and primary sources to enhance historical understanding.
8. Collaborate with other PGT teachers to integrate history with subjects like political science and geography.
9. Participate in PTMs, school events, and departmental meetings to support holistic student development.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in History from a recognized university.
- B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in History at the senior secondary level.
- Fluency in English and Hindi with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.
Good to Have
- CTET or UPTET certification.
- Experience teaching in a residential or boarding school setup.
- Knowledge of digital teaching tools like Google Classroom and PowerPoint.
- Participation in history seminars, workshops, or subject-specific training.
- Exposure to inclusive classroom practices and student counseling.
