Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare short, punchy General Knowledge sessions that fit inside 30-minute slots without losing the punch.
Design quick quizzes on the morning bus ride news so students start the day with questions, not yawns.
Use local landmarks and bazaars as live case studies—count coins in the weekly market, map the route to the temple for directions practice.
Run Friday “Who Am I?” where children guess famous personalities through voice clues recorded by you.
Coordinate with the art teacher to turn current events into wall murals every fortnight.
Organise a monthly GK corner in the library where students curate a display on one district hero or festival.
Collaborate with the sports coach to tie Olympic timelines with Mainpuri’s own sports day records.
Keep a running tally of “Today’s Local Hero” on the classroom board, updated by students themselves.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from NCTE-approved institutions.
Three years of classroom experience in primary sections, preferably in social studies or general awareness.
Familiarity with the local dialect and cultural pulse of Mainpuri will be an added advantage.
TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but will be considered favourably.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary ranges between Rs.12,000 and Rs.20,000 based on experience and qualifications.
