Job Overview
St Joseph World School, a well-established school in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the position of TGT Computer Science Teacher. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced teacher to teach Computer Science to students from class VI to X. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating Computer Science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons to students from class VI to X.
2. Prepare and use a variety of instructional materials and technology, such as computers, software, and multimedia equipment.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administrators.
4. Develop and implement Computer Science projects and activities that promote student learning and engagement.
5. Maintain a safe and organized Computer Science laboratory and ensure that students follow proper safety procedures.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Computer Science with other subjects, such as Mathematics, Science, and Language Arts.
7. Develop and use assessments to measure student learning and progress.
8. Stay current with developments in Computer Science education and integrate new technologies and methods into the curriculum.
9. Supervise students during Computer Science classes and maintain classroom discipline.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
- Two years of experience in teaching Computer Science to students from class VI to X
- Valid TET/CTET certificate (not mandatory but preferred)
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching computer programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom
- Experience in designing and implementing computer-based projects and activities
