Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging mathematics lessons for classes 6 to 8, following the state curriculum and school guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment materials that enhance conceptual understanding.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, analyze results, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Mentor and support students in developing problem‑solving skills and confidence in mathematics.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects and school events.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and report cards in a timely manner.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees as required.
Requirements
- Post‑graduate degree in any discipline; a Master’s in Mathematics or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record in mathematics instruction.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; possession of TET or CTET is an advantage.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts, problem‑solving techniques, and classroom management.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support learning.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English, both written and spoken.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging student participation.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.25,000 – Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives and professional growth opportunities within the school.
