Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology is seeking an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR to join its faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding research projects, and contributing to the growth of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Operating Systems, Computer Systems, and related courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Conduct research in the area of Operating Systems and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide research projects and supervise students for their master's and Ph.D. theses.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and committee work.

- Participate in academic and extracurricular activities of the institution.
PG Class Profile
The successful candidate will be required to teach master's level courses in Operating Systems, Computer Systems, and related areas. They will also guide research projects and supervise students for their master's and Ph.D. theses. The candidate is expected to develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks. They must also be qualified in NET/SLET or have a valid Ph.D. certificate. The candidate should have a strong research background and a proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Learning and Development
The candidate is expected to maintain an API score of 3.0 and above for promotion and career advancement. They should also engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and research skills.
Salary and Benefits
