Job Overview
In the esteemed Academic environment of Hindustan College Of Science & Technology, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Big Data Analytics to join our faculty as per UGC norms. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach and conduct tutorials for undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Statistics, particularly in topics like Data Analysis and Probability.
2. Develop and implement curriculum for postgraduate courses in Big Data Analytics, ensuring relevance to industry needs and emerging trends.
3. Guide and mentor postgraduate students in their research projects, providing valuable industry insights and expertise.
4. Participate in research activities, collaborating with colleagues to develop and execute research projects in the area of Big Data Analytics.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to provide students with opportunities for internships, placement, and collaborative research.
6. Conduct seminars, workshops, and conferences to disseminate research findings and best practices in Big Data Analytics.
7. Develop and implement new courses and programs in Big Data Analytics, incorporating emerging trends and technologies.
8. Engage in academic and administrative duties, contributing to the growth and development of the institution.
Postgraduate Students
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Big Data Analytics, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring postgraduate students in their research projects, providing valuable industry insights and expertise. You will also teach and conduct tutorials for postgraduate courses in Big Data Analytics, ensuring that students acquire a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a PhD degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 55% marks. In addition, you must have cleared the NET/SLET examination or any other equivalent national-level test. A strong track record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals and a minimum of three years of post-qualification teaching experience are essential.
