- Conducting seminars and workshops for students and faculty members.
- Developing research projects and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participating in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments for interdisciplinary research.
- Serving on various committees and boards within the University.
- Providing academic counseling to students.
Postgraduate Students
You will be responsible for guiding master-level courses and projects, including:
- Teaching and guiding research projects for M.Tech and M.E. students.
- Supervising thesis work and providing guidance on research projects.
- Conducting seminars and workshops for postgraduate students.
- Evaluating and grading student performance.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess:
- A Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mathematics or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET or SLET qualification or Ph.D. degree with 55% marks (UGC norms).
- A good academic record, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Your Growth Path
To ensure career advancement, you must achieve an API score of at least 3.5, as per UGC regulations. You will be eligible for promotion to Associate Professor and Professor positions based on your performance and experience.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Rs.45,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, with allowances as per UGC norms. The University offers a range of benefits, including medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and housing assistance.
