Required Qualifications
PhD in Mathematics with specialization in Linear Algebra from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates without PhD but holding UGC-NET with JRF in Mathematics are eligible as per UGC norms. Post-doctoral research experience is preferred, especially in areas like functional analysis or representation theory.
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the university level is required. Experience guiding MPhil or PhD scholars in related areas is desirable. Familiarity with LaTeX, MATLAB, and SageMath for research and teaching is expected.
Research & Publications
Develop research proposals aligned with funding agencies such as SERB, CSIR, and DST. Submit applications for Core Research Grant or MATRICS schemes to support doctoral students. Present findings at international conferences like the International Linear Algebra Society meetings.
