Collaborate with the Materials Research Centre on projects involving thin films, sensors, and energy storage devices.
Guide final-year B.Tech projects and M.Tech dissertations in experimental and computational physics. Supervise Ph.D. scholars registered under Hindustan College Of Science & Technology and co-guide interdisciplinary theses with departments of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Evaluate doctoral theses and serve on departmental doctoral committees.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Engineering Physics or Applied Physics is mandatory for this ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Engineering Physics position in Mathura. Candidates holding a post-doctoral fellowship in a recognized institution will receive preference during selection. If Ph.D. is not completed, UGC-NET with JRF or CSIR-NET with JRF is required as per UGC norms.
A minimum of three years of full-time teaching or research experience in a university or national laboratory is necessary. Experience in supervising student projects and managing funded research projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as AFM, XRD, and impedance analyzers is an added advantage.
