Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Semiconductor Physics at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Semiconductor Physics to students of the University.
- Conducting research in Semiconductor Physics, publishing high-quality research papers in reputable journals, and presenting papers in conferences.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research work.
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the University.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and research initiatives.
- Engaging in departmental and university-level service activities, such as committee work and representing the University at external events.
- Maintaining a strong connection with the research community through participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Developing and maintaining a strong research profile, including securing research grants and publishing papers in top-tier journals.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics or a related field. A post-doc experience in Semiconductor Physics or a related field is preferred. UGC-NET with JRF is mandatory for this position. You should have a strong research background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to teach and mentor students.
Academic Projects
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Semiconductor Physics, you will have opportunities to collaborate with other faculty members and researchers on academic projects.
