Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites applications for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Soft Skills to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Soft Skills. The appointment will be made in accordance with the UGC norms.
Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Soft Skills, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching undergraduate courses in Soft Skills to students of Hindustan College Of Science & Technology.
- Conducting tutorials and seminars for undergraduate students.
- Preparing and delivering lectures on Soft Skills for postgraduate students.
- Guiding postgraduate students in their research projects.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
- Assisting in the development of new courses and curriculum in Soft Skills.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of the department.
- Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with students, colleagues, and parents.
PG Class Profile
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Soft Skills, you will be required to teach master level courses in Soft Skills and guide students in their research projects. You will be expected to develop and teach courses that are relevant to the needs of students and industry. You will also be responsible for guiding students in their research projects and providing them with feedback and guidance.
Who Can Apply
Candidates who are eligible to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Soft Skills must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks. The candidate must also have qualified in NET/SLET or have published research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and a strong research background.
Career Opportunities
The successful candidate will have opportunities for career advancement within Hindustan College Of Science & Technology. To be eligible for promotion to the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, the candidate must have an API score of 360 or more. To be eligible for promotion to the post of PROFESSOR, the candidate must have an API score of 405 or more. The candidate must also have a Ph.D. and at least 10 years of teaching experience.
Perks and Pay
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, allowances as per UGC norms, and other benefits as per the institution's policy. The appointment will be made on a full-time basis for a period of five years, which may be extended based on performance and availability of funds.
