Job Overview
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites applications for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the Department of Management Studies to teach Retail Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Retail Management to undergraduate students pursuing BBA and B. Com (Hons) programme.
2. Conduct lectures, seminars, and tutorials for postgraduate students pursuing M. Com (Marketing Management) and MBA (Marketing Management).
3. Guide research projects and dissertation for postgraduate students.
4. Develop and implement course curriculum for Retail Management.
5. Conduct industry visits and invite guest lecturers to enhance student learning experience.
6. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
7. Participate in departmental activities, such as organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences.
8. Maintain a database of academic and industry resources for students.
PG Class Profile
The Department of Management Studies offers M. Com (Marketing Management) and MBA (Marketing Management) programmes. The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding research projects and dissertation for postgraduate students.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, the candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Retail Management or related field from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. Alternatively, the candidate must have a Master's degree in Retail Management with a minimum of 55% marks and UGC-NET/SLET qualification. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The selected candidate will be eligible for career advancement based on the University Grants Commission's (UGC) performance evaluation criteria, which includes Academic Performance Indicator (API) score.
