Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites applications for the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Business Law Vacancy in Mathura. Key Responsibilities
Teach core and elective courses in Business Law at UG and PG levels with clear lesson planning and delivery. Conduct tutorials, seminars, and case study discussions to enhance student understanding of commercial law principles. Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations as per university guidelines.
Prepare and update course syllabi in alignment with UGC and Bar Council norms. Develop teaching aids, MOOC content, and digital resources for blended learning. Organize guest lectures by legal practitioners and industry experts to bridge theory and practice.
Engage in extension activities such as legal awareness camps and university-industry collaborations. Maintain accurate student records and submit assessment reports on time. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum design, and academic committees.
Master Level Teaching
At the master level, design and deliver specialized papers in Corporate Law, International Business Law, and Intellectual Property Rights. Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and field-based studies under the supervision of senior faculty. Encourage interdisciplinary research linking law with commerce, management, and technology.
Facilitate publication of student research in peer-reviewed journals and present papers at national seminars. Support the establishment of a Business Law Clinic or Legal Aid Cell within the university. Collaborate with external agencies for internships, moot court competitions, and placement support.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Business Law or Corporate Law with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates with NET/SLET qualification are preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching or research experience in Business Law is mandatory.
Publications in UGC-listed or Scopus-indexed journals are required. Experience in curriculum development and participation in academic conferences is desirable. Familiarity with UGC norms and AICTE guidelines for law programs is essential.
