What You Will Do
Teach advanced courses in Banking And Finance to postgraduate students at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology. Develop and deliver lectures, case studies, and simulations that reflect current industry practices and regulatory changes. Mentor students in understanding complex financial instruments and market dynamics.
Lead and participate in high-impact research projects aligned with the priorities of the Reserve Bank of India and SEBI. Publish findings in UGC-recognized journals and present papers at national and international conferences. Contribute to curriculum design, ensuring alignment with emerging trends in banking technology and financial services.
Guide doctoral students pursuing research in specialized areas such as fintech, microfinance, and corporate governance. Supervise Ph.D. scholars from admission to thesis submission, maintaining academic rigor throughout. Evaluate theses and serve as examiner for external Ph.D. defenses across universities in India.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Banking, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university is mandatory for this ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Job in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. A post-doctoral fellowship or experience at a premier institution is highly desirable. Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualification as per UGC norms.
Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience at the postgraduate level in a university or autonomous college is required. Experience in guiding M.Phil. or Ph.D. students and publishing in Scopus or Web of Science indexed journals will be preferred. Familiarity with AICTE or UGC accreditation processes is an added advantage.
Research & Publications
Engage in collaborative research projects with institutions like NIBM Pune, IIM Lucknow, and RBI-recognized centers. Seek external funding from agencies such as ICSSR, RBI, and NABARD for applied research in rural banking and financial inclusion. Publish at least two papers annually in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or ABDC-listed categories.

Doctoral Guidance
