Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Bioprocess Engineering. This ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Bioprocess Engineering Vacancy in Mathura is a full-time role under Uttar Pradesh university recruitment norms. The selected candidate will deliver high-quality education in bioprocess engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
What You Will Do
Lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions for B.Tech and M.Tech students in Bioprocess Engineering. Design and update course content aligned with UGC and AICTE standards. Conduct mid-semester and end-semester examinations as per Hindustan College Of Science & Technology academic calendar.
Supervise UG and PG projects in bioreactor design, fermentation technology, and downstream processing. Mentor students for national-level technical competitions and paper presentations. Organize industrial visits and expert guest lectures for practical exposure. Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols in bioprocess labs. Contribute to curriculum development and NBA accreditation processes.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized master level courses such as Advanced Bioreaction Engineering and Bioseparation Technology. Guide M.Tech scholars in thesis work and research publications. Collaborate with industry partners for sponsored projects and consultancy assignments.
Who Can Apply
PhD in Bioprocess Engineering or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET qualified candidates preferred if PhD not completed. Minimum 3 years of teaching or research experience in bioprocess engineering after PhD.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus/Web of Science are mandatory. Prior experience in NBA accreditation or NAAC processes is desirable. Familiarity with DST, DBT, or CSIR funded projects is an added advantage.

Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 100+ required for promotion to Professor. Research output of 5+ papers in SCI journals over five years is expected. Participation in FDPs, workshops, and conferences contributes to career advancement.
