Engage in high-impact research with focus on emerging issues in business law such as digital contracts, ESG compliance, and cross-border insolvency. Publish findings in Scopus-indexed journals and present at national and international conferences.
Supervise LL.M. dissertations and guide undergraduate students in moot court competitions and legal aid clinics. Mentor students in developing case briefs and research papers relevant to current business law challenges.
Collaborate with faculty across departments on interdisciplinary projects involving economics, finance, and technology law. Contribute to curriculum development committees for new specializations in business law.
Participate in university committees related to legal education reforms, examination reforms, and student grievance redressal mechanisms. Represent the department in academic and professional forums in Mathura and nearby cities.
Organize guest lectures by Supreme Court advocates, corporate legal heads, and SEBI officials. Facilitate internships for students at top law firms and corporate legal departments in Delhi-NCR.
Develop case studies and teaching materials based on real-world business law disputes from Indian courts. Integrate technology in teaching through learning management systems and online legal databases.
Contribute to the university’s Centre for Corporate Law and Policy Research through policy briefs and white papers on regulatory changes impacting businesses.
Who Can Apply
Ph.D. in Business Law, Corporate Law, or Commercial Law from a recognized university is mandatory. Post-doctoral research or industry experience in corporate legal practice will be preferred.
Candidates must have qualified UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent examinations like CSIR-NET or SET/SLET. Minimum three years of teaching experience at the level of Assistant Professor in a university or autonomous college.
Experience in guiding doctoral students or coordinating research projects in business law will be advantageous. Familiarity with UGC regulations on academic performance indicators is expected.
Research & Publications
Lead collaborative research projects with faculty from IITs, IIMs, and law schools in Delhi and Lucknow. Focus areas include fintech regulation, data privacy in business transactions, and arbitration law reforms.

Perks and Pay
