What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Networks, Network Security, and Data Communication. Design and deliver lab sessions for practical exposure to routing, switching, and network protocols. Mentor student projects and guide final-year dissertations in emerging networking technologies.
Handle postgraduate classes on Advanced Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Network Simulation Tools. Prepare course materials aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements. Conduct internal assessments and evaluate student performance fairly.
Engage in curriculum development for B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA programs. Collaborate with peers to integrate cloud computing and IoT concepts into networking curricula. Support accreditation processes for NBA and NAAC visits.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized master level courses such as High-Speed Networks, Network Management, and Network Programming. Guide M.Tech students in thesis work on topics like SDN, NFV, and 5G technologies. Organize seminars and workshops on current trends in computer networking.
Encourage interdisciplinary projects linking networking with cybersecurity and data analytics. Supervise student research groups and foster innovation in network design and optimization. Review and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronics, or Computer Engineering with at least 55% marks. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level is required. NET or SLET qualification is mandatory if Ph.D. is not completed.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science are essential. Prior experience in teaching Computer Networks at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology or similar institutions is preferred. Familiarity with NPTEL or Coursera course development is a plus.
