Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology, a renowned university in Mathura, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Computer Vision to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for imparting quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Science and Engineering.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and related topics.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis works.
- Conduct research in the area of Computer Vision and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental and institutional activities, such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs.
- Maintain a strong network with industry and academic partners to facilitate student placements and research collaborations.
- Participate in the development of the university's academic and research vision.
PG Class Profile
The successful candidate will be expected to teach postgraduate courses on Computer Vision, including topics such as image processing, feature extraction, and object recognition. They will also be responsible for guiding students in their research projects and thesis works, and for mentoring them in their academic and professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
The successful candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. They should also have a valid NET or SLET certificate. In addition, they should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and a proven track record of research and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in a university or college setting.
Learning and Development
The university follows the UGC regulations for the appointment of faculty members. To be eligible for promotion, the candidate should have an API score of at least 3.0. They should also have a strong publication record and a proven track record of research and teaching experience.
What You Get
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, along with other allowances as per UGC norms. They will also be eligible for benefits such as medical insurance, leave travel concession, and other perks.
