Day-to-Day Duties
As an Associate Professor - Cyber Security, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cyber Security, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
- Conducting research in Cyber Security, with a focus on publishing papers in top-tier journals and presenting at international conferences.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Developing and implementing curriculum for Cyber Security courses.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees.
- Engaging in academic administration, including student mentoring and advising.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Cyber Security research and incorporating them into teaching and research.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory for the position. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral research experience. UGC-NET with JRF is also desirable.
