Supervise doctoral students in areas like in-memory databases, NoSQL performance tuning, and federated learning over distributed data. Guide students from proposal writing to thesis submission.
Organize workshops on SQL tuning and database administration for local IT professionals. Partner with Oracle Academy and Red Hat Academy for certification courses.
Serve on departmental committees for curriculum revision, lab upgrades, and industry tie-ups. Represent the college at AICTE and UGC review meetings.
Collaborate with the incubation center to mentor startups working on database-as-a-service models. Facilitate internships at leading firms such as TCS Innovation Labs and HCL Tech.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must possess a PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Database Management Systems from a recognized university. Candidates with post-doctoral research experience will be preferred.
A minimum of three years of teaching or research experience in a university or R&D organization is required. UGC-NET with JRF or CSIR-NET qualification is mandatory if PhD is not completed.
Experience in handling government-funded projects and guiding M.Tech dissertations is desirable. Familiarity with NAAC and NBA accreditation processes adds value.
