Day-to-Day Duties:
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Engineering Physics, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Engineering Physics.
- Conducting research in areas related to Engineering Physics and publishing papers in national and international journals.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Participating in departmental and institutional committees as required.
- Engaging in academic and administrative activities as assigned by the Head of the Department.
- Collaborating with other faculty members in the Department of Physics to develop and implement curricula, research projects, and academic programs.
- Engaging in outreach and extension activities to promote the Department's research and academic programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Engineering Physics at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology, the candidate must possess a PhD in Engineering Physics or a related field. A postdoctoral research experience will be an added advantage. The candidate should also have a UGC-NET with JRF or a UGC-SET qualification. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in teaching and research in a university or college.
Academic Projects:
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology offers a range of opportunities for collaborative research projects with other institutions and industries. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for research grants from national and international funding agencies. The candidate will also be expected to publish papers in national and international journals and conferences. The candidate will also be expected to supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects.
Ph.D. Supervision:
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Engineering Physics, the selected candidate will be responsible for guiding and supervising Ph.D. students in the field of Engineering Physics. The candidate will be expected to evaluate Ph.D. theses and provide constructive feedback to the students. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of Ph.D. programs in the Department of Physics.

The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.60,000 per month as per UGC norms.
