Develop curriculum-aligned teaching materials and recommend relevant textbooks and reference books. Organize guest lectures by industry experts to bridge academic knowledge with practical applications. Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and student feedback.
Master Level Teaching
At the master level, teach advanced Fluid Mechanics courses and specialized electives as per university regulations. Guide postgraduate students in selecting research topics and supervising their dissertations. Ensure alignment with current research trends in fluid dynamics.
Conduct workshops on numerical methods, experimental techniques, and simulation tools used in fluid mechanics. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary topics into the curriculum. Encourage students to publish their findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics from a recognized university. Minimum 55% marks in postgraduate degree as per UGC norms. NET/SLET qualified or equivalent for eligibility if PhD is not completed.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized institution. Publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in national or international conferences. Experience with curriculum development and student mentoring is preferred.
