The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Genetic Engineering position at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology is designed for scholars who can lead advanced teaching and research in genetic engineering. What You Will Do

Collaborate with national labs and biotech firms for internships, joint research, and technology transfer.
Participate in academic administration, including board meetings, accreditation processes, and student evaluation panels.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
Mentor student clubs such as the BioInnovators Society, guiding them in national competitions and hackathons.
Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, or a relevant field from a recognized Indian or international university is mandatory. Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET or equivalent national eligibility tests if PhD is not completed. At least three years of full-time teaching or research experience in genetic engineering is required. Industry experience in biotech, pharma, or genetic diagnostics is highly desirable. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools, gene synthesis platforms, and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
