Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Security, including network security, cryptography, and database security.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Information Security courses, ensuring alignment with University norms and industry requirements.
- Guide postgraduate students in master level courses and projects, mentoring them to produce high-quality research papers and presentations.
- Conduct research in Information Security, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national and international conferences.
- Participate in academic advisory committees, contributing to the development of academic policies and programs.
- Develop and maintain industry connections, collaborating with organizations to provide training and consultancy services in Information Security.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to the overall development of the institution.
- Engage with students, providing guidance and support to enhance their academic and personal growth.
- Develop and deliver online courses, ensuring high-quality instructional materials and engaging learning experiences for students.
Postgraduate Students
As ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Information Security, the appointee will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students in master level courses and projects. The appointee will mentor students to produce high-quality research papers and presentations, and provide guidance on research methodology and academic writing.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Information Security or related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET (UGC-NET) or SLET qualification, if Ph.D. is not completed.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, demonstrating expertise in Information Security.
- Teaching and research experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
