ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Machine Design in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh | University Recruitment — Applications invited as per UGC norms.
Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites applications for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Machine Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as guiding students in their projects. The faculty member will also be expected to contribute to departmental and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Machine Design courses, including theoretical and practical aspects.
2. Developing and delivering course material, as well as conducting classes and exams for students.
3. Guiding students in their research projects, including master's level courses and dissertation work.
4. Conducting research and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals.
5. Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to policy-making decisions.
6. Representing the department at university and state government levels.
7. Collaborating with other faculty members to develop new courses and programs.
8. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and academic performance.
Postgraduate Students
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding master's level students in their research projects, including providing guidance on research methodology, data analysis, and writing reports. The faculty member will also be expected to provide feedback and support to students throughout their project duration.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Machine Design or a related field with at least 55% marks. NET/SLET qualification is mandatory for candidates without a Ph.D. The candidate should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Learning and Development
To be eligible for promotion and career advancement, the faculty member will be required to achieve an API score as per UGC norms. The candidate will also be expected to participate in professional development activities, including attending workshops and conferences.
