Day-to-Day Duties
Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Operating Systems is the core responsibility. Preparing lecture notes, lab manuals, and conducting hands-on sessions in Linux and Windows environments are expected daily. Supervising student projects and internships in system programming falls under this role.
Graduate-level labs on kernel programming and real-time systems will be conducted regularly. Conducting mid-semester and end-semester assessments as per university norms is part of the duties. Departmental meetings, curriculum review, and syllabus updates are also required.
Master Level Teaching
At the master level, courses such as Advanced Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, and Embedded Operating Systems will be taught. Guiding M.Tech and MCA students in their dissertation work and research publications is mandatory. Industry-aligned projects in system software and OS optimization will be supervised.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 55% marks is required for this ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Operating Systems Vacancy in Mathura. NET/SLET qualified candidates with three years of teaching experience will be preferred. Minimum 5 publications in peer-reviewed journals are necessary as per UGC norms.
