Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
1. To oversee and manage the music department, including the selection of music materials, instruments, and equipment.
2. To coordinate and conduct music festivals and events, including the organization of concerts and recitals.
3. To develop and implement music programs for students, including music therapy and music appreciation sessions.
4. To provide guidance and support to music teachers and staff members.
5. To maintain accurate records and reports on music department activities and student progress.
6. To collaborate with other departments to integrate music into the overall curriculum.
7. To represent the music department at school events and meetings.
8. To ensure that all music-related activities are conducted in accordance with school policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
A graduate degree is required for this position, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in music administration or a related field. A degree in music or a related field is desirable. B.Ed/D.El.Ed is not necessary for this position as it is a non-teaching administrative/leadership role. TET/CTET is not essential but preferred.
