About This Role
Romex International School invites applications for the position of PGT Accountancy Teacher in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to students in classes 11 and 12, preparing them for the Boards.
Pedagogy and Tools
In the Accountancy teaching job, candidates will use practical methods, tools, and software to explain complex accounting concepts to students. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Preparing and delivering lectures on Accountancy to classes 11 and 12.
2. Conducting practical classes and lab experiments to demonstrate accounting concepts.
3. Assigning and evaluating homework and class assignments.
4. Providing guidance to students in their academic work and personal development.
5. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance.
6. Collaborating with other teachers to plan and implement the curriculum.
7. Participating in school events and activities related to Accountancy.
8. Evaluating and updating the curriculum to meet the changing needs of the students.
Eligibility Criteria
A postgraduate degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accountancy is required for this teaching position. Candidates with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance or Accountancy will be preferred. A B.Ed degree is mandatory for this teaching position. TET/CTET certification is not necessary for this job at Romex International School.
Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in teaching Accountancy at the senior secondary level. They should have a good understanding of the CBSE and ICSE Boards' Accountancy syllabus. Candidates with a strong background in finance, accounting software, and taxation will be preferred.
Perks and Pay
