Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging geography lessons that align with state educational standards, using interactive maps, GIS tools, and field study projects.
Plan and conduct classroom activities that enhance students’ spatial thinking and environmental awareness, integrating local geography of Chhata and surrounding Mathura district.
Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing timely feedback and tailored support to improve learning outcomes.
Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate geography concepts across interdisciplinary projects, ensuring a cohesive learning experience for students.
Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and student progress reports, adhering to school administrative protocols.
Participate in school community events, such as science fairs and environmental campaigns, representing Heritage Public School | Vrindavan and fostering a culture of curiosity.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Geography or related discipline required.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not compulsory.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record in delivering geography curriculum.
Experience in using technology and fieldwork to enrich classroom learning is highly valued.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
