What You Will Do
As a PROFESSOR in Data Mining, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Data Mining courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conducting research in Data Mining and publishing papers in top-tier journals
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Data Mining
- Developing and managing Data Mining research projects
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the University
- Engaging with industry partners and stakeholders on research and innovation projects
- Developing and implementing new Data Mining courses and programs
- Building and maintaining relationships with alumni and external partners
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Data Mining or a related field. A postdoctoral research experience is preferred. You should also have a strong research record, evidenced by publications in top-tier journals and conferences. UGC-NET (with JRF) qualification is mandatory for Assistant Professor position if Ph.D. is not completed.
