Key Responsibilities
Teach Embedded Systems courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology. Develop and update curriculum in line with industry standards and academic requirements. Conduct laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations for hands-on learning.
Design and deliver lectures on microcontrollers, RTOS, IoT, and firmware development. Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. Mentor students in project work, internships, and research activities.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in Embedded Systems. Collaborate with industry partners for workshops, guest lectures, and collaborative projects. Contribute to the academic and research environment of the department.
Master Level Teaching
At the master level, teach specialized courses such as Advanced Embedded Systems, Real-Time Operating Systems, and Embedded Linux. Guide students in dissertation and thesis work, ensuring high standards of academic rigor.
Encourage research-oriented projects aligned with current industry needs. Organize seminars, webinars, and conferences to foster academic growth. Promote interdisciplinary research within the department and across other disciplines.
Facilitate industry-academia collaborations to enhance practical exposure for students. Encourage publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Support students in participating in national and international competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks. Must have cleared UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or SLET for Assistant Professor eligibility if Ph.D. is not completed.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Embedded Systems at the university level. Publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in conferences are mandatory.
Experience in curriculum development and laboratory setup is desirable. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in Embedded Systems is essential.
Learning and Development
Performance will be evaluated based on API scores as per UGC regulations for career advancement. Opportunities for attending FDPs, workshops, and short-term courses are provided.
