Key Responsibilities

Design hands-on lab sessions and capstone projects for students at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology.
Guide master’s level students in research projects related to generative AI, including thesis supervision and dissertation evaluation. Organize seminars, workshops, and guest lectures by industry experts in AI. Contribute to curriculum design and periodic review of AI-related academic programs.
Master Level Teaching
At the master’s level, lead advanced courses such as Generative AI for Creativity, AI Ethics and Governance, and Applied Generative Models in Industry. Supervise master’s theses focusing on real-world generative AI applications in domains like healthcare, finance, and creative arts.
Facilitate interdisciplinary projects linking generative AI with fields such as robotics, NLP, and computer vision. Promote publication of student research in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field is mandatory. Minimum 55% marks in postgraduate qualification and first-class grades at undergraduate level are required. Candidates must have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or SET/SLET in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the university level in AI or related areas is essential. Demonstrated research output in peer-reviewed journals with focus on generative AI, deep learning, or foundation models is required.
Publications in Scopus/WoS-indexed journals or reputed conference proceedings are preferred. Experience with securing research grants or industry collaborations in AI is desirable.
