Role Summary
Hindustan College Of Science & Technology, a renowned University in Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the post of PROFESSOR - Industrial Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in Industrial Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Industrial Engineering, including Operations Research, Production Planning, and Quality Control.
2. Develop and implement new courses in Industrial Engineering, aligned with the University's vision and mission.
3. Conduct research in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on publication in peer-reviewed journals.
4. Supervise postgraduate students, guiding them in their research projects and thesis work.
5. Participate in academic and administrative activities of the University, including committee work and departmental meetings.

Postgraduate Students
The PROFESSOR will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students in their master-level courses and research projects. This includes teaching research methodology, data analysis, and project management. The PROFESSOR will also supervise students in their thesis work, providing guidance and feedback to ensure timely completion.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 55% marks, is mandatory for the post of PROFESSOR. NET/SLET qualifications are also required, or a Ph.D. from a recognized University. The candidate should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, with a minimum of 5 publications.
Career Opportunities
The University offers career advancement opportunities to its faculty members, based on their performance in the Annual Performance Index (API). The PROFESSOR will be eligible for promotion to the post of Professor Emeritus, based on their API score and other criteria. The successful candidate will receive a salary of Rs.60,000 - Rs.90,000 per month, as per UGC norms.
