What You Will Do

- Publish research papers in leading international journals, such as the Journal of Manufacturing Systems and the International Journal of Production Research.
- Supervise Ph.D. students in Manufacturing Technology, guiding them through their research projects and thesis evaluation.
- Develop and lead research projects, securing funding from government agencies, industry partners, and other sources.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, contributing to the growth and development of our department.
- Mentor junior faculty members and research scholars in their academic and research pursuits.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Manufacturing Technology or a related field is mandatory for this position. A post-doc experience or research experience in Manufacturing Technology is preferred. Candidates who have completed their PhD but do not have a post-doc experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Professor, provided they have cleared UGC-NET with JRF.
Research & Publications
As a PROFESSOR in Manufacturing Technology, you will be expected to develop and lead research projects, securing funding from various sources. Our institution has a strong tradition of collaborative research projects with industry partners, and you will be encouraged to pursue interdisciplinary research in collaboration with faculty members from other departments. You will be expected to publish research papers in leading international journals and present research papers at national and international conferences.
Research Leadership
As a PROFESSOR in Manufacturing Technology, you will be expected to guide doctoral students in their research projects, providing them with academic and research guidance. You will also be responsible for evaluating theses and dissertations submitted by research scholars.
Perks and Pay
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.60,000 - Rs.90,000 per month, as per UGC norms, along with research grants for conducting research projects. Our institution offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and other perks.
