Day-to-Day Duties
As a Professor of Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching marketing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conducting research in the field of marketing, with a focus on publishing high-impact papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervising Ph.D. students working on their dissertations.
- Mentoring junior faculty members in research and academic development.
- Developing and implementing marketing curricula, ensuring they are aligned with industry needs.
- Participating in departmental and university-wide committees, contributing to policy decisions.
- Engaging in collaborative research projects with faculty members from other departments.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field is mandatory for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral research experience and a strong track record of publishing research papers in top-tier journals. UGC-NET with JRF is also a desirable qualification for Assistant Professors.
