Role Summary
The position of PROFESSOR - Polymer Chemistry at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology invites experienced academicians to lead the polymer science curriculum. Key Responsibilities
Teach core and elective courses in Polymer Chemistry at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Hindustan College Of Science & Technology. Supervise laboratory sessions and ensure compliance with safety protocols during polymer processing experiments.
Conduct lectures on polymer synthesis, characterization methods, and industrial applications of polymers. Facilitate interdisciplinary research collaborations within the department and across engineering streams. Encourage students to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national conferences in polymer science.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry or a closely related field with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SLET qualified applicants will be preferred, though Ph.D. holders without NET/SLET may apply if they meet UGC criteria.
A minimum of 5 years of teaching or research experience in polymer chemistry at a university or reputed institution is required. Publications in Scopus/WoS indexed journals and patents in polymer technology will be given priority.
