What You Will Do

Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Present papers at national and international conferences on quantum physics and related interdisciplinary fields.
Contribute to curriculum development by introducing new electives such as quantum computing, quantum cryptography, and quantum materials. Collaborate with industry partners for internships and sponsored projects in quantum technology.
Organize workshops and seminars on emerging topics like topological quantum computing and quantum sensing. Mentor junior faculty members to enhance teaching and research capabilities within the department.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Quantum Physics or a closely related field from a recognized university. A minimum of five years of teaching and research experience in quantum physics at the university level is required.
Post-doctoral research experience in quantum information science or experimental quantum optics is highly preferred. Candidates with a strong publication record in quantum physics journals will be given preference.
UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or equivalent national eligibility is mandatory. Active participation in national or international quantum physics conferences will be considered an added advantage.
