About This Role

- Conduct regular meetings with the team to discuss progress, share best practices, and address challenges.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum across subjects.
- Prepare and present reports to the school administration on student progress, curriculum development, and departmental achievements.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge in art and craft education.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local art and craft organizations, galleries, and museums to provide students with opportunities for hands-on learning experiences.
- Prepare students for board examinations, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
- Monitor and analyze student performance, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or mentoring role. NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
