4. Assess student progress through regular tests and provide constructive feedback.
5. Organize monthly English recitation competitions and spelling bees.
6. Collaborate with other PRTs to plan cross-curricular activities.
7. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
8. Prepare monthly progress reports for parents and school records.
9. Participate in school events such as annual day functions and parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a UGC-recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary level.
- Valid TET or CTET certificate preferred.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Good to Have:
- Experience working in CBSE or ICSE-affiliated schools.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools like Smart Class.
- Knowledge of phonics and early literacy methods.
- Exposure to inclusive education practices.
- Local understanding of Mathura’s student community.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create simple, engaging English learning materials.
- Patience and creativity in handling young learners.
- Basic computer skills for lesson planning and reporting.
