Mount Hill Academy Sr. Sec. Core Duties
Teaching fundamental sports skills, rules, and strategies across various disciplines like football, basketball, athletics, and indoor games. Designing and delivering age-appropriate physical education lessons that meet academic and extracurricular goals.
Planning and supervising school sports competitions, tournaments, and inter-house events to promote team spirit and fair play. Ensuring students follow safety guidelines during outdoor and indoor physical activities, including equipment handling and emergency preparedness.
Collaborating with the school’s sports committee to organize fitness camps, health awareness programs, and wellness initiatives. Maintaining records of student participation, performance, and progress in physical activities.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is essential. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching roles in schools. Experience in teaching Physical Education for at least two years is preferred, particularly in a school environment.
A valid TET/CTET certificate is highly recommended but not mandatory for this position. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate students are crucial for this role.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.17,000 to Rs.25,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is based in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and inclusive school community.
