About This Role
Romex International School is inviting applications for a full-time PRT Social Science Teacher Vacancy in Mathura. The position is open to candidates with a passion for teaching Social Science to primary classes in a modern school environment.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons for grades 1 to 5 using interactive methods.
Prepare teaching aids and charts to explain historical events, geographical concepts, and civics topics.
Assess student understanding through simple quizzes, projects, and classroom discussions.
Maintain attendance and progress records in school ERP software.
Participate in PTMs and parent-teacher interactions twice a year.
Organize small field trips or museum visits to enhance learning.
Collaborate with subject teachers for cross-curricular activities.
Attend monthly staff meetings and training sessions at Romex International School.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institute.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Social Science for primary classes.
Familiarity with CBSE or state board curriculum frameworks.
Good to Have
TET or CTET qualified candidates will be preferred.
Experience in digital classrooms or smart board teaching.
Local knowledge of Mathura’s cultural and historical context.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
Ability to simplify complex topics for young learners.
Patience and classroom management skills.
Salary and Benefits
The Social Science Teacher Job in Mathura offers a monthly salary between Rs.15,000 and Rs.30,000 based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include PF contributions and paid leave as per school policy.
