About This Role
Romex International School is looking for a full-time TGT Computer Science Teacher. The role involves teaching grades 6 to 10 with a focus on programming, networking, and IT skills. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and assessing student progress.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with the NCERT Computer Science syllabus.
Conduct practical sessions on programming languages like Python or Scratch.
Assess student assignments and provide timely feedback.
Organize inter-house coding competitions and IT quizzes.
Guide students in using tools like MS Office, GIMP, and basic Python IDE.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology in cross-subject projects.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure lab equipment is used safely.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to school events and PTMs.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field required.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Computer Science.
TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month based on experience.
