Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive EVS (Environmental Studies) lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring students grasp key concepts like biodiversity, waste management, and sustainable practices. Develop and implement field trips, workshops, and projects that connect classroom learning to real-world environmental challenges. Collaborate with school staff to integrate EVS activities into broader educational initiatives, such as cleanliness drives or tree-planting events.
Teach students from Class I to VIII, adapting teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning levels. Prepare engaging lesson plans, visual aids, and practical demonstrations to make EVS concepts relatable and exciting. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure participation in school-level environmental campaigns.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. A graduate degree in any discipline is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial for this School NTT Evs Opening.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or environmental sciences, is required. Experience working with school-age children in a structured learning environment is a must. Familiarity with local environmental issues and community engagement is an added advantage.
