Key Responsibilities

Organize botanical excursions, lab upgrades, and guest lectures to connect theory with real-world applications. Coordinate with the science department to plan inter-disciplinary projects.
Mentor junior Botany teachers and trainee educators through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and collaborative planning. Support their professional growth and subject expertise.
Maintain high standards in practical work, ensure availability of lab equipment, and update safety protocols regularly. Manage inventory and coordinate with external vendors for timely procurement.
Contribute to school-wide academic initiatives such as Olympiads, science fairs, and STEM awareness campaigns. Represent the Botany department in parent-teacher forums and school events.
Document lesson plans, assessment records, and student portfolios in the prescribed format. Prepare quarterly reports on academic progress and departmental achievements.
Participate in curriculum review workshops and textbook selection committees as needed. Align department goals with the school’s five-year academic vision.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Botany from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. A B.Ed degree is mandatory for the PGT Botany Teacher Vacancy in Meerut.
