PGT Business Studies Teacher Job in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
City Vocational Public School Meerut invites qualified candidates for the School PGT Business Studies Opening. This role is designed for experienced educators passionate about shaping future entrepreneurs through structured business education. The position aligns with the school’s focus on vocational training and practical learning, emphasizing real-world business concepts for students.
Reporting to the Head of the Department, this role oversees curriculum development and classroom instruction in Business Studies.
Core Duties
Teaching Business Studies at the senior secondary level, covering core subjects like accounting, economics, and management principles. Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that integrate local business scenarios, ensuring relevance to students’ future careers.
Assessing student performance through continuous evaluation, including projects, assignments, and practical examinations. Collaborating with vocational faculty to integrate business studies with technical and vocational subjects for holistic learning.
Participating in school-wide academic planning meetings to refine teaching methodologies and align with state education board guidelines. Maintaining updated teaching resources, including textbooks, digital materials, and industry-specific case studies.
Supporting extracurricular activities such as business competitions, guest lectures, and career counseling sessions for students. Ensuring compliance with school policies on curriculum standards and student conduct.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related discipline is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching roles in Uttar Pradesh schools. Two years of teaching experience in Business Studies at the senior secondary level is essential.
A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this position. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabi for Business Studies is advantageous. Experience in vocational schools or industry partnerships is a plus.
Compensation and Location
The successful candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.55,000. The role is based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, with the opportunity to contribute to City Vocational Public School Meerut’s mission of vocational excellence.
